Meet Nala

My Labrador, Nala, born on 16 September 2022, opened my eyes to the deep emotional bond between humans and animals—and how much their quality of life depends on the choices we make. Around the same time, I became increasingly mindful of what everyday makeup products might contain and how important it is to choose formulas I felt safe using on my daughters' skin.

This reflection sparked the idea behind Lilia Copenhagen: a beauty brand built on care, transparency, and respect for animals, people, and the environment.

We never use animal-derived ingredients, and all our products are 100% vegan—including our mascara. Everything is produced within the European Union under strict EU legislation, which has banned animal testing for finished cosmetics since 2004 and for cosmetic ingredients since 2009.

As part of our long-term mission, we aim to donate 2% of our revenue to animal welfare initiatives as soon as we reach a sustainable operating level 🐰🐷🐝.
