Our Story – Lilia Copenhagen Vegan Makeup

Lilia Copenhagen was created from love, responsibility, and a vision of making beauty more transparent and accessible—without compromising on quality, safety, or respect for animal welfare.

As a single mother, I have always been deeply focused on the well-being of my two daughters and mindful of the ingredients in the products we surround ourselves with. This sparked a curiosity and a desire to develop makeup with greater transparency and clearer choices.

At the same time, my Labrador, Nala, helped strengthen my awareness of animal welfare and our responsibility toward the animals around us.

With these values as a foundation, I created Lilia Copenhagen—a vegan beauty brand using ingredients of natural origin, focused on combining quality, performance, and an accessible price point.

All products are developed in accordance with EU cosmetic regulations and produced in Denmark and Italy. Lip gloss is manufactured in Denmark, while mascara, lip tints, blush, and highlighters are produced in Italy.

The products contain between 85.6% and 99% ingredients of natural origin, as stated on each product’s packaging. All products are vegan.

Packaging and materials are continuously being developed with a focus on improving solutions over time. We already use sugarcane-based packaging for our lipgloss, and our shipping materials are made from recycled sources supplied by a local partner.

As part of the brand’s long-term vision, the goal is to donate 2% of annual revenue to initiatives supporting animal welfare and environmental causes, once a stable financial foundation has been established.
